We are thrilled you are interested in Church of the Open Door. Walking into a new place for the first time can sometimes be uncomfortable. We put together this page to help you know what to expect when you arrive and hopefully put you at ease.
Church of the Open Door is a community of concerned believers in Jesus Christ, firmly committed to the truths of God’s Word. Our low-key, “family” approach to Christianity has introduced many to the life-changing truths of the Gospel in a non-threatening informal atmosphere. No pressure, no programs, just one friend telling another friend about the Person of Jesus Christ.
Our deepest desire is that Church of the Open Door be used by God to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our friends in the San Gabriel Valley area.
Two special invitations to anyone who is new
We invite you to attend our next Meal for 12 Strangers

We have two types of small groups at Church of the Open Door that are absolutely vital to anyone who is new.
One type of small group meets in the home and called HUB (Home, Unity, Bible) Groups (Click here for more details)
. Hub groups discuss the message that was heard on Sunday morning and spend most of the time applying these truths and praying for one another. We have Hub groups that meet all over the San Gabriel Valley.
The other type of small group meets on Sunday mornings on COD's campus and are called Adult Bible Classes (ABC's)
. The focus of ABC’s is friendship around the Word of God. These small groups meet at 8:15am, 9:30am and 11am (Click here for more details).
