Dr. Collins Glenn

Dr. Collins Glenn professed faith in Jesus Christ and accepted Him as Lord and Savior while he was a young boy. In 1955, at the age of 21, he answered the call of God and surrendered his life to serve Him as a minister of the Gospel. Soon after, Pastor Glenn resigned his profession in sales and prepared to preach by enrolling at Bob Jones University where he received his B.A. (1960). He received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from San Francisco Baptist Theological Seminary in 1976.     
 
In 1964 Pastor Glenn moved his family to Indianapolis where he began pastoring Joy Baptist Church. After serving there for three years, he candidated here at GBC and, in February 1967, he joined the pastoral staff.
 
Pastor Glenn is author of the Dispensational Home Bible Study Evangelistic Program, used widely by new and established churches in the U.S. and on the mission field. He serves as guest speaker and lecturer for Bible colleges and universities, church revival campaigns, missions and stewardship conferences, and is founder-chairman of the Grace Baptist Bible Institute for the training of lay workers.   
 
Pastor Glenn is currently a member of the board of Baptist World Mission and the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship of America. He has long been associated Indiana Fundamental Baptist Fellowship, Advance America, and is a former president of the Indiana Association of Christian Schools. 
 
He and his wife, Duriene, have raised two children who are serving the Lord in the pastorate and on the mission field. They have six grandchildren.
 
On February 5, 2012, Dr. Glenn retired as Senior Pastor, having completed 45 years of ministry at Grace Baptist Church, and became Pastor Emeritus. 
 
Widely regarded as an exceptional Bible teacher, he is currently available for pulpit supply, missions conferences, prophecy seminars, and five-day dispensational studies for churches and schools.
