Mother Nora Lee Dees

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints” - Psalm 116:15

Our precious First Lady, Mother Nora Lee Dees has gone home to be with her Savior.
She has fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, She has finished the race, She has kept (firmly held) the faith. [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for her the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to her and recompense her on that [great] day—and not to her only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (His return). – 2 Timothy 4:7-8

We solicit your prayers for our Pastor, James & Glen, grandchildren and entire Dees family.

-2 Corinthians 1:2-4 says,
“Grace (favor and spiritual blessing) to you and [heart] peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement), Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.”

We were so blessed and honored to have known Mother Nora Lee Dees and to have called her our “First Lady.”

Although we grieve, we do not grieve like those who have no hope according to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-15:  “And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.   We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.”

An announcement will be forthcoming regarding Mother Dees’ home going celebration.
